It's reflected in our name. The Health Foundation's philosophy is focused, health-related grantmaking. Our commitment to this niche allows us to have a significant, sustained impact on the health of greater Indianapolis.
We focus our funding in these areas:
Because some of these health concerns are highly volatile social issues, a few funded programs have been controversial. But that makes the foundation's focus all the more important. We feel that if we don't address these issues, nobody else will.
