How To Apply
There are four stages to the application process.
Stage One: Contact the Vice Presiden of Programs to determine the appropriateness of your intended proposal.

Stage Two:
If your intended proposal is appropriate, the Vice President of Programs will schedule a meeting with you to discuss your proposal in detail. At this meeting, the program officer will establish and explain the parameters for the remainder of the application process. This may include site visits, follow-up meetings and submission of a draft proposal.

Stage Three: After getting approval from the Vice President of Programs, submit your proposal to the board of directors of The Health Foundation, following the guidelines provided by the staff. Submit application by deadline


Stage Four: The board of directors of The Health Foundation of Greater Indianapolis will consider your grant request at a regularly scheduled board meeting. Based on the number of grant requests submitted and the discretion of the board, your proposal may not be considered for funding during the funding cycle you requested, but may be deferred to a later date.

Applicants will be notified of the board's decision
decision.

April 11 Submission of original plus 18 copies of proposal

May 8 THF Board consideration and decision

September 2 Submission deadline for draft proposal
Original plus five copies

September 26 Foundation staff notification of critique
October 10 Submission of original plus 21 copies of proposal
